Supervisor Liz Kniss
sent me this bag as part of the County's education project to reduce
disposable bag use. They might tax plastic bags if this project doesn't
work as well as they want it to. On the other hand, those Helium
balloons were given me by this woman running for a bigwig position at
Junior Statesmen, where I tabled 4/25.
Courting Condi is a
very unusual movie. It's billed as a "Musical Docu-Tragi-Comedy", and
it is all of those things. It features both real actors and real
experts talking about the Bush Administration. It also features a
bizzare unrequited love story that kept the crowd I saw it with at
Stanford laughing from begining to end. I'd say it's a great way to
give people a soft introduction to some harsh truths about what the
United States did during the Bush era.
