We spent considerable time looking at pictures and things like that. Teresa has a small business selling the things people need to make their scrapbooks a treat to look at. Things like letters, flowers, cutters to trim snapshots, and stickers for filler. Her own scrapbooks are really great, and after looking at them I would feel like "I need to get some of those things to make mine better", if I did that kind of thing.

Then we went outside to eat and relax by the pool.

It wasn't warm out. On the news the next morning I heard the phrase "record cold temps in Florida."

I wasn't there at the time, but I'm told that while Katie was playing a bird in the tree she laid a green and white egg. At the time I was playing frisbee with Grace and Teresa, who stopped playing to take pictures.

I think our big accomplishment of the day was getting our hostess to take this group shot of us.

Grace and Teresa really like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, a TV drama series that they had several DVDs of. They made me watch one year's Thanksgiving episode. It featured Johny Cash doing a nice song about getting together with family for the holiday.

My stepmother was keeping the change for doing laundry in this coffee filter. Somebody needed the change for something else and left paper in its place. Evelyn complained about that, so later I got a roll of quarters and put that where the paper was. That was enough to last the rest of our stay in Florida.
