The last program day for Leadership Mountain View was Friday May 14th, at the AOL campus here in Mountain View. The only impact AOL had on the day's proceedings was a few introductory comments made by a VP who said something like "each and every one of us has a role to play in moving forward together." As a member of the Fighting Jalapenos, I won the shirt with this logo on it in the Mountain View trivia competition. Actually, we had somebody who really knows the town on our team, Stephanie Schaaf.

The last Friday in April I went up to San Francisco for Critical Mass. While the crowd was assembling at the foot of Market Street, a guy with a European Accent was wandering through the crowd pushing ONE LESS CAR stickers and CarBusters magazine, issue 19.

I traded a  for the one shown above, and put it on my bike just minutes later.
