Pretty words mask deadly deeds.   Bring our troops home NOW!   The world still says no to war!

When I got there the crowd was already about 200 people. They were chanting something that boiled down to "Bush stole the election."

MANY PEOPLE WITH SIGNS.   WAGE PEACE

After a little while people moved to the street to brandish their signs at the cars as they went by. For at least an hour and a half after that there was a constant din of car horns as the people going by expressed their approval of our efforts.

Of all the pictures I took during the evening, this one of a Corbin Sparrow was the toughest. I basically had to stand in the middle of University Avenue, a very busy street. It took a couple of light cycles to figure out just where to run and when to get there for the narrow window of opportunity. Thanks to Ruth and Carol V. for adding sex appeal for long enough that I could capture it!

Count all the votes because No Paper Trail means No Democracy!   War is not the answer!   Child plays in a tree above a DETHRONE BUSH sign.

Huge banner. The top line says END THE OCUPATION, and the bottom line says BRING OUR TROOPS HOME.

Special thanks to the Peninsula Peace and Justice Center for organizing this event!
