Back in the '70s Peabody's was a T-Shirt printing shop. They had huge piles of over-runs, print errors, and seconds for cheap. I got a lot of my shirts there, paying something like two bucks per. My favorite was one that had a psychedelic picture of a wave with the slogan "SURF STONED" at the time I'd never been been stoned, it was just a great shirt. I wore it to school for the shock value sometimes. I was playing soccer in it one time and Jane ran into me, making my chin bleed and chipping a tooth. I dripped on it a bit, and the stains never came out. It didn't matter. One of the stoners saw it, and he had to have it. He bid up the price to $10 before I said yes. It really made the guy happy to wear it. Nowadays the place is some sort of bar, but the building still has PEABODY'S on it. The brickwork still looks the same.

This year Lal won our not exactly annual golf game. Neither one of us shows much evidence of practicing between games.

We went out to dinner at The Jewish Mother. The place has a nice stage for live music. It wasn't long after we got there that Aiden and Liam took it over and started dancing up a storm.

I was quite full by the time we left.
