Last time this happened, back in late 2006, it was a new high water mark for gas prices. This time I think it feels like price relief to drivers. I don't know for sure, because I've been car free since that general time frame. Actually, it was $2.379 on both sides of Grant this time:

It was difficult to find an angle that would show both gas signs and the street sign well.
