It seemed like everywhere you looked there were more flowers. You had
to look down to see them, because many were quite small, but once you
noticed them they were a delight to see.
We had to round a couple more turns from here to be able to see the
waterfall, but this was the best view of the valley I saw.
Jody said "when you meet people going
the other way on the trail, you should tell them about something
interesting you've seen recently. Then they might tell you about
something interesting they've seen recently." Then she explained she
had learned that nugget from a boyfriend who had been a naturalist.
I doubt that's the Bil Maher I knew in my video game days. Times I saw
it, he spelled his name with only one "L".
At this point we had hiked all the way around the mountain to the ocean
side.
My legs were tired by the time the visitors center came into view.
