The fast for peace with Iraq happened on the sidewalk between the State and Federal Buildings on 2nd Street in San Jose. When I got off the Light Rail at the Paseo de San Antonio station, I had to walk past the cornerstone with the logo below on it to get to the vigil. For contrast, in front of the federal building there is only a memorial about the internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII, put there to keep them from forgetting that they need to treat everybody the same way.
I showed this seal to my father while somebody on the radio was talking about the dot commies "quarter life crisis". It had something to do with the trauma of being part of the Internet bubble of the '90s.
