One thing that's different about this ride is that Theo wanted us to have a pre-ride from each of the avilable train systems. I led the one from Alum Rock VTA to the start at Eastridge Mall. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the half dozen of us that went along.

The first thing that inspired me to pull out my camera was this wheelchair accessory. It screws eBike capabilities onto the front of a normal wheelchair that's so good this guy and his friends have no trouble keeping up with bike party.

All too soon it was time to head out.

Later I heard that the count was about 540 riders.

This was the most on theme party corner I saw the whole evening. So 80s!

Meanwhile behind me there were lots of people in clothing that would be comfortable in any decade. Only the modern bikes gave away the current era.

After these there weren't any standout costumes that gave me that "Gotta take a picture!" feeling.

One of the things that made that park the perfect place to go "sliding through the decades" is that it had an awesome set of concrete slides that have been built into the hillside for many, many years. Unfortunately, I missed that part this time.

Put my camera away until it was time to document that we made the last northbound train with moments to spare.
