This month's bike party started at Tamien Station. The crowd was large and happy to be riding together again. The weather was perfect.

There was some dramatic theme (No PANTS!) participation, but it was thin. To make a long story short, I ended up at the corner of Willow & Lincoln yelling "Left on Lincoln!" and taking pictures soon enough. Decided to just take as many pictures as I could as the ride went by and see how many had any visual interest later.

This is the front of the pack getting there not long after the sun went down.

There were lots of guys in shorts. I suppose technically those weren't pants.

So many of us have cool lights on our bikes. It makes watching them go by feel like watching a parade.

Yup. Bike Party still waits for the light to change at busy intersections.

The next three pictures are a left to right scan of the biggest backup I saw.

By this time the crowd was getting thin. I waited through a few more light cycles and then hot routed to the first regroup myself.

This was Katie's ride. She picked the theme and created the route. Then she led the test rides. Yup. She threw a party for hundreds of her closest friends and we all had a great time. Honored to be in a picture with her.

Pretty cool that Amy had on the original San Jose Bike Party No Pants Ride shirt!

Special thanks to Ed and the other Ravens for making our trash footprint small enough they don't complain and we get to keep having bike partys. If you want to volunteer to help out that is a major effort we would be grateful for. Talk to Ed about doing it for an upcoming ride.
