When Mark first floated the idea of a Big Boy Ride he made shirts like this and gave them to bike party regulars. Some of us wore them, so in that sense we were on theme. Beyond that there wasn't much participation in the theme.
Didn't want to take no pictures. Decided to just stand in an unoccupied spot and spin around taking overview pictures of what I saw. Edited them down by cutting out big empty areas at the top and bottom.
Maybe it was 7:40 or something like that. The plaza was a lot fuller with people when we set out just after 8 PM.
Found out when we headed out that there were a whole lot more people on the other side of R2-D2, meaning that big cylindrical building in the foreground.
The schmoozing kind of ended with the pre ride announcements. (Bike Party is all volunteer everything. Please step up if you want to keep us going. These are the rules: Don't get smashed! Stop at red lights. Stay to the right. Leave no trace. Roll past conflict. Be nice.) A couple of minutes later we started riding.
After that I just enjoyed the ride in an offline kind of way.
