There are many things about this
bike that make it much better for stunt riding. The special chain
adds something. The pedal arms are the hot brand for that kind of
thing.
It's a fixie, so all power control
goes through the pedals.
The pegs are for "grinding" on
ledges and stuff like that. You can see from the bottom view that
this one gets used. The front wheel is completely unencumbered so
that the handlebars can spin. He also explained that there is a
lot more rubber there so that when the bike lands the tires don't
puncture. I gather the guy used up a few road bikes before he
figured out he needed a bike like this one, which he said "is
perfect for the way I ride."
