Ever get that "where's the third
option?" feeling? I'm not even going in their store if they want
me to pick up a cup with either of those names on it. I want to
drink from a STEIN!
I looked up and there was a march
coming down the street towards me.
They looked interesting. I figured
I'd march along with them for a while.
Turns out that was just the
pre-march. The real thing was going to start at 5 PM in front of
some huge bank. I checked out the EV celebration at Justin
Herman Plaza while waiting. Click above to see more about that.
Sorry about getting my camera
strap in that "jobs with justice" picture...
Turns out the Chinese text on that
poster says about what the English version says. Thank you
translators!
I think these people were
shredding and burning their loan documents. About then I spent
some time talking to a woman who had been forclosed on in
Florida. She'd managed to continue living in the place for a
year or so after she quit making payments. Then they threw her
out. She'd been going from Occupy to occupy ever since. She
didn't want her picture taken.
Somebody had a light in the shape
of "shame" that they shined on Wells Fargo. Meanwhile, the band
played on. They got more than a few people jiggling along.
Don't know where it came from, but
they set up a buffet line and fed everybody plentiful, tasty and
free food. No questions asked, all I had to do was wait in line
like everybody else. Thank you Occupy San Francisco!
While we ate others painted the
street. I didn't take any pictures of that because I didn't want
evidence of a crime in my pictures. However, I wandered around
the completed composition catching the more interesting
thoughts.
