About that time a huge tribe of cops
whizzed by on their motorcycles. To give you an idea how many their
were, when the parade got to us I had my camera off and in the case. It
took me a while to realize this might be worth taking a picture of.
When I did, I took the camera out and turned it on. Then I had to frame
the shot and take the picture. This couldn't possibly be more than a
tenth or twentieth of the cops. At the time we were still gaggles of
individuals on the sidewalk, and it felt like we were vastly
outnumbered by the law.
