A lot of San Franciscans came to the show by bike! :-)

This was maybe as much as a third of the people listening to Doc Watson, David Holt, and Richard Watson. Every spot that could conveniently hold one person held two or more.

From where I was standing, this was the best picture of the above I was able to get. I moved up a lot before Emmylou Harris took the stage.

Mr. TV is still doing organic TV for people. He found a good spot between the meadows where the concerts were and 19th Ave., where people would gather to hear his show. It seemed like every five or ten seconds he would do another line that included a visual pun or something else that would make people laugh. Then after a couple of minutes he would take donations for the "my wallet foundation." I gave him something to.

I've forgotten what the exact connection between Iraq and Chile was. Maybe he wanted that to be off the record.

I rode with the woman in the deadhead coat on the train. It was way more fun than most of the conversations I have with random strangers.
