I saw this booth and found Richard
Heinberg's words echoing in my head. He had said something that boils
down to "biodiesel only makes sense when you are diverting used grease
from the landfills as a power source. If you grow crops to make
biodiesel, you end up using more energy to make the fuel than you get
out of using it." I really wish they had mentioned that fact in their
materials, because without it the customer response could easily end up
being way too enthusiastic for the sustainable supply of fuel.
