I have no idea what the S.O.S stands for. I find it fascinating that they would superimpose Texas on Africa and Europe in their logo that way though. Californians would be more likely to pick some image that would give you that "I like it" feeling.

That chicken on the panhandle of Texas talking to the peace crane was given to me by this farmer from Wisconsin, who was handing them out to give people the feeling his organic eggs were the ones to buy. I chatted with the guy for a bit. When I got to the part of my little speech where I discuss climate change, he said "I know people in Minnesota that can plant corn now because climate change has lengthened their growing season." When I finished going through it, he urged me to "repeat it like a mantra".
