Mary Ann Blackwell posted something the gist of which was "This is going to be the last critical mass." There was a time when I was a regular rider at that event, so I decided to show up.

     

It was Halloween. A lot of people did something for the theme.

There were times in the past when critical mass started with many more people than this at the start.

     

That guy came dressed as MUNI's "fiscal cliff". I gather that's super scary in San Francisco City Hall.

Not long after that it was time to start rolling. Didn't take any more pictures. The mass turned out to be a herd of bikes about two blocks long having a good time. I rode with them for an hour and a half or so and then they zoomed off and I lost them.
