The garden is pretty lush right now. At the moment the big story is my berry bushes.
The season is mostly over for the Arkansas Traveler. I had lots of berries from it on a daily basis from the early June to at least mid July.
Karen's surprise is going strong now. Likely to keep giving me all the fruit I need until sometime in August.
The Four'Oclock contines to get along with the rose bush. When both are blooming it's a pretty sight. Meanwhile, the raspberry bush is doing fine.
Been eating kale off these plants regularly as the greens in my soup for supper. Very happy with them. They started as weeds in the pathway next to a plot where someone let their kale go to seed. They look different from each other because who knows where that bee had been before visiting the mother plant.
The row of peppers that Susan gave me are doing fine.
Another year of having more grapes growing in my plot than ever before!
The lime tree had suffered a lot of neglect before I adopted it. Now it looks happier every time I look at it.
This is my favorite view of my garden. The collard plants almost give me daily greens, and the grapes even give me shade!
The other nice thing right now is that the naked ladies are in bloom.
