March 10th, 2010: On my way down to the
Registrar of Voters office, the VTA ticket vending machine at the Light
Rail stop gave me most of the above change when I put $20 in to pay for
a $4 fare. There are supposed to be 64 entries, but I only counted 61.
Maybe I dropped a couple because that many quarters are such a handful.
For that reason alone I'm happier when the thing pays out in dollar
coins. It works out to a more manageable pile of change.
