March 25, 2018: That coin is one of the artifacts we uncovered cleaning out Virginia's family room. Coin from the left over stuff of a good friend's world.  It's balanced on the spine of the latest book by another old friend.

August 28th, 2016: Once a year my old friend Carol Brouillet sends out a letter to catch her friends up on the latest of her news and thinking. This was by far my favorite paragraph in this years epistle. The coin just happened to be conveniently available when I was looking for something to pose with the prose.

May 24th, 2015: I found that coin in my change buying food from the Mexican restaurant at Lick Mill & Tasman in Santa Clara. At the time the San Jose Earthquakes were hosting some other team in a match in Levi's Stadium, across the road and up a block or so. In other news, I'm very happy with this camera's ability to photograph coins. Thank you Sony!
