At the SCRAP table
kids were making magical looking wands out of old CDs, recycled plastic
packaging, glue, and a few other things. The kids had a great time
there. I never got a good picture of the front of the table because
every time I went by there was a crowd there.
Carole McClelland of Green Career Central was helping young adults and
career changers pick green
careers.
At the Cool Cities
table everybody that wanted one enough to put down their name and email
address was given a LPF lightbulb. The one they gave me is now lighting
my breakfast nook when I am there.
I like how the
volunteer cards and donations all go in the same jar. I hadn't heard of
"The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved" before. As I type this,
Building the Green Economy is the book I carry with me and read on
transit.
PG&E was giving
out the blue tote bags at the left end of their table. The caption on
them is nice, as you can see.
The woman on the left had another sign that said "EDWARDS".
