I didn't hear about this before it happened. I was crossing the street and this guy was walking at least three gallons of water on a cart the same way. He explained that it was for the dancers doing the free show in the plaza. I think he said something like "come on down." Anyway I went. The show was quite good.

     

        

  

     

The way the girls in pink and burgundy shook those tambourines it sounded a lot like girlish laughter or burbling water.



 







About this time the rhythm of the samba musicians got under my skin and I started dancing. So did a lot of other people. If my camera's battery hadn't finally died I might have taken more boogie pictures, but it had.
