This poet told us that "Nuclear Waste will last for generations." Using that as her theme, she wove lots of ideas together in a way that made me feel like environmental stewardship is a good idea.

This guy was introduced as a leader of the Western Shoshone. He told us about the time he and his brother were driving and saw a deer acting weird. They stopped the truck to find out what was going on. They found out the problem. It had no eyes. His brother asked the speaker, "what do you call that?"
"No Eye Deer" he said. I immidately let out a huge groan. Lots of people laughed.

The Brother talked about how we need to find the wisdom to heal our country's racial and cultural wounds in the struggle to move forward together on the problems like nuclear waste, where the Karma is going to be around long after we have left the scene.
