The first part of the trail I walked
was shared by many people, not all of them pedestrians.
About this time a fire truck and an ambulance zoomed by with blinking
lights and sirens blaring.
There was still water going into the
lake, but not much. Later I found out from the people that went to the
tunnel that tributary is dry already.
I wasn't on the trail long before I
passed the emergency equipment, parked at a campsite. Later Gabrielle
told me that the problem had been some kid had been massively stung by
bees. I don't know what he did, I wasn't troubled by them.
