The woman with the eye patch is a fairly new addition to the Los Angeles Green Party County Council. She explained that Tom Bolema, a long time member of the LAGPCC had moved up north. Mike had volunteered to take over the seat for two months, but had somehow ended up on the LAGPCC for much longer. At that point I was so relieved that they had moved on from that check they were arguing about before I started to hope we might be able to move forward together.

By this time most of the stack we started with had said something. The afternoon was winding down, and nobody had a clear articulation of a way forward on which there was consensus. We broke into smaller groups and went out to eat.
