The ride from Virginia to Georgia took
hours and hours. My sister didn't want me to help with the driving, due
to me not having had a car for almost five years and not having
insurance either. We stopped for lunch at this Cracker Barrel in South
Carolina.
The food at the Cracker Barrel was very
southern. They had a fun little store that even had Divinity, the
southern candy I used to make with my grandmother around Christmas time.
I found it just fascinating that "The
State" is a newspaper in South Carolina. The feeling was similar to
that I got when I found out the local paper in Sunnyvale, CA is "The
Sun".
I spent the whole ride keeping Katie
company in the back seat.
