I was given this shirt for
volunteering for the World Environment Day
event up in San Francisco, June 2nd '05.
This is an
excerpt from my credit card bill. I'm fairly sure
the Toronto I got a
CD from is
in Canada. I remember visiting the place in Mountain View, California.
To add to
the comedy the thing followed by NV, which I take to mean "Nevada",
looks like a San Francisco, CA phone number.
The Laura Love
CD sampler talks about her experience growing up in Nebraska. I picked
up that and the Religion magnet at the WED event where I got the above
shirt. I listened to it a few times and then mailed it off to New
Zealand. The religion magnet is still on my filing cabinet.
The woman who gave me these
coasters is a California Government Employee. I told her I wouldn't
take any of her coasters unless she took a sticker, explaining that
"customers stretch out behind me like a long stream of forgotten
faces." When she had taken it, I had her read a NJ quarter and told her
"we need a totally nonviolent revolution, the kind where the pun is
mightier than the gun". She said "I'm with you there" or something like
that.
