These two have known each other less than a year, but already they plan to marry. The three of us spent about four days together. The first day we spent looking at the East Bay, where we always go to remember the past.

The second day was spent more locally, taking in this gallery near Palo Alto and hanging out talking. Also, they took off for the evening to hang out with some old friends of my father's that I never saw.

We spent Sunday looking for hearts in San Francisco, a wonderful way to enjoy the day that won't be around for long. I reccommend it to anyone that thinks they have seen everything in that city.

That last picture was taken just a few minutes after Evelyn dipped her feet in the Pacific Ocean, maybe for the first time. She commented about how much colder it is than the Atlantic that she is more used to, being from the Eastern shore.
