Let me tell you the story behind
that option
button. I was talking to
this young woman whom I had just given my little
speech. She wanted one of my MEND YOUR FUELISH WAYS stickers, but
she
didn't have any money. I asked her what she had in the way of trade
goods,
and she mentioned the option button that she kept in her change purse
to
remind herself she had options. I offered to take it in exchange for
the
option of making our world a more sustainable place. She took me up on
it.
I haven't seen her since, but I remember the discussion as a pleasant
moment.

That logo on the
upper left of this badge was
suggested to me by a woman
from the San Diego Green Party.
