As long as I can remember, the sport of Cowboys VS Indians has been part of Thanksgiving. Sometimes I think recent immigrants don't notice the Zebras making sure that everybody follows the rules.

It's a challenge to catch a football in the air. Way more fun than following your team in the sports section, which I think of as a testosterone laden short term focused version of the politics that tends to dominate the front section of the paper.

Newspapers have a sports section so that people that think kinestetically can follow news that means something to them. The political sections mean nothing to those who don't know something about the personalities involved or the issues at stake. It all seems so contrived. My brother liked the way I used change to edit out the year and day of the paper I took this picture of. It wasn't very old at the time.
