When I got there they were reading the 85 significant problems with the official 9/11 Commission report. Things like "Omission of evidence that at least 6 of the alleged hijackers are still alive", "The Commission's denial that it found any evidence of Saudi funding of al-Qaeda", and "Failure to mention the contradictions between Clarke's account of Rumsfeld's whereabouts that morning and Rumsfelds own accounts". Somebody was handing out copies of the complete list. If you want one email me your postal address and I'll send you a copy or click here for a similar list.

I must have missed the part where they said it boiled down to a whitewash, and wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Because of this, the time had come for a Boston style Tea Party to deal with it. Anyhow, I knew that was the situation because it said so on the press release somebody had emailed to me.

There were at least a couple of dozen supporters listening attentively. Not that many of them were brandishing signs though. I tried to take pictures of as many of those as possible.

One guy was giving out copies of this little card. Another guy was giving out one explaining that browsing the  many 9/11 truth websites was akin to eating the red pill Morpheus offered Keanu Reeves in The Matrix. Somebody else gave me a DVD full of further information from 9/11 researchers I could see at my leisure.

Looking at the difference between "Force citizens to fulfill agenda" and "Trick citizens into fulfilling agenda", I'm wondering if that's what Daddy Bush meant when he talked about a "kinder and gentler nation".

When they got word that KPIX (5) was ready to film the stunt the parade headed down to the pier.

When we got to the end of the pier, more important words were shared.

Then our fearless leaders threw the report in San Francisco Bay.
Click here to see my movie of the actual event.

The view of San Francisco was so good I had to share it with you.

I like how they echoed the shape of Alcatraz in the pill box (or whatever it is) at the end of the pier.

When the report went in the water it had a piece of fishing line attached to it. Unfortunately, when they pulled on the fishing line it broke or the place where it was attached broke. In any case the report floated away. Between taking calls from activists telling us that 300 witnesses had seen the Boston Tea Party, Carol and Vi were making outgoing calls looking for someone with a canoe that was willing to fish it out. I'm not sure what happened, but Carol managed to save the covers for some future event. You see them here, drying on the grass.   Click here for much more on the event.
