This bus rolled into downtown Palo Alto to honor the 55th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It parked on the street in front of Palo Alto City Hall. The event was sceduled to be on the free speech plaza there.

Paul George kicked things off by reading from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Then George Shrub sang some songs to remind us we are living in some kind of police state. He assured us that Patriot II is going to make Patriot I look like a walk in the park. He took our picture for his records.

There were maybe one or two dozen other people, plus the speakers etc. The usual crowd in other words. The surprise was that we also drew a counter protest, shown below.

The counter protesters outnumbered the rest of us by quite a bit.
