Virginia wanted to ride at least a mile for every year of her life on her birthday. This is the route we ended up using.

     

One of the things Virginia wanted in the trip was to cross the Dumbarton Bridge during daytime. We did that took the selfies to prove it. That's the edge of the south bay with San Jose and Santa Clara in the background, in case you were wondering.

Then we had a family dinner out with her kids and brother and their families at mile 44.8. Did the last 20 plus miles on the way home from that, with an extra gorrila paw with something to look at to be sure we went far enough.
