I'm trying to share the following little speech with everybody I can:

As a planet our problems are so deep that the only way we're going to solve them is for each and every one of us to take a personal responsibility for being part of the solution.

To show you what I mean, just consider the problems with the way we use oil. Climate change, oil wars, pollution, ill health, and high gas prices.

I put this sticker on my own machine. I'm still learning how to drive less, and I still drive a lot less than I did when I started this project, but we still need structural changes in our economy. The only way to get them is for each and every one of us to do their part. I'm doing what I can and I'm asking other people to do what they can so please do what you can.
Thanks,

Tian Harter

P.S. If you'd like a bike sized (1.5" by 7") sticker please send $1 and a self addressed stamped envelope to:

P.P.S. I made this page to document the current state of my little talk. One thing, though: I replace "high gas prices" with "fracking" in the list of problems with the way we use oil when I see anything below four bucks a gallon at a typical local gas station.

P.P.P.S. Back in 2016 these Stanford students did this great movie about my campaign. You can see it at:
