One quality of
this painting that isn't
captured in this image is the way
the colors change as you walk past the transdimensional parts. It
literally looks like a sea of twinkling stars. When I got the thing, it
didn't have the Mother Earth decal. I got that in exchange for a MEND
YOUR FUELISH WAYS sticker not long after the 2nd Iraq War started. I
had it on my front window until the homeowners assocaition complained,
at which point I made it part of this artwork. A year or so later the
artist came by to pick something up. He looked at the change and said
"I like it".
