It seems to me that the world is connected together by media.
It doesn't seem fair to me to expect the media to have more of a global perspective than the rest of us.
I walk by the
tower on that Mountain View pin on a regular basis. I got the pin at
city hall, for something like $2. I've thought enough about change to
realize that these pins have as much chance of being seen in some
distant future as the legal tender we use to balance cash transactions
to the right of the decimal point.
